Is there anything more Minnesotan than a summer at the lake? The peaceful sound of crashing waves, the kids playing on the beach and snuggling up with each other in front of a warm glowy sunset. I have been photographing the Boeck Family for 3 years since we moved in across the street from them. Each session has become increasingly more fun and special as they have become dear friends to us! I met them at Lake Minnetonka for their summer family session and it was the perfect place to be on a nearly 100 degree day in June! We splashed in the water, skipped rocks and walked along the beach.  There is just something that makes a session 1,000 times better when you add the element of water!  This was the perfect way to kick off a busy summer of family sessions!
