It is such an honor to be welcomed into a family’s home so soon after they’ve had a baby. New routines are being figured out, siblings are adjusting to a new tiny human in the family and everyone is exhausted.  These moments are so important to capture, in the haze of sleepless nights as your baby grows and changes by the day.

Meghan & Derek welcomed their third baby just before Christmas and my favorite thing about their session was the siblings fighting over who got to hold the baby! Jack showed an undeniable love for his new brother and in fact wanted to hang around and watch me take photos of Ryan instead of running off to play when we were done with family photos!  Most of the smiles from Big Sister, Brynn came when it was her turn to hold Baby Ryan! I always expect a little chaos when siblings are adjusting to a big life change and I come in as a stranger taking photos of them but they were all so calm and happy and their home was so full of love!
